I'm rude. The difference is, I'm fully aware that I'm being a jerk as it's happening. He's under some misguided belief that he's doing someone a service.

 

Nah you just tell it like it is. Some people are just to sensitive on these forums.

 

GG is a teacher. Half the forum population are made up of people that can't spell or use grammar beyond a 2nd grade level. It's actually quite sad. Sure you will hear people throwing around "English are my second linguage!" but come on... I don't believe
that for a half a New York second. Someone needs to develop a game where you are required to spell a word properly or die.

 

I know two people personally who use this forum and English is their second language. One is Spanish and the other is Greek. (not the Greek dude that made a thread yesterday) I assure you, improper grammar annoys me as much, if not more than anyone else.
I'm also not delusional enough to believe that being a D-bag will correct the issue.

 

Thanks for the input GG! I'll work on my grammar just for you since we're gonna get tech. about it. Also i'm pretty sure everyone got my point across.

thread when it's really not necessary (granted, that's probably my fault, but you're certainly not helping the situation). So, instead of making this about me, how about the lot of you just say hi to the OP and make a new friend.

From now on, I'll just quote others' posts with corrections, like above, and not say anything - that way they can see it and be like, "oh yeah" and decide for themselves whether they want to improve or not.

 

No one claimed you intended it as an insult. It was just obnoxious. As you typically are.

Edit: I've been correcting people's grammar in the quotes for several years now. You should stick with that too.

Trap, you should join the forum regulars on Thursday evenings. We get together and play a couple of hours of FM5. We also have a thread here in this forum dedicated to our get-togethers, but unfortunately, I can't link to it while using the IE app on the
XB1 (all I'd need is copy/paste for text MS!).

 

Why be nice about it? I don't go to a Spanish forum and try to type Spanish. If I did and slaughtered their language, I would expect to be laughed at and corrected.
