Add child to my account parental...

Hi,

Yestarday i accidentaly removed my son from my account, and now i want to put him back again. because he is a gold member and cannot login to live unless eh has a parental account...

So i folow the steps to add him, i add credit card, adress, but when i reach the part to accept terms, i get a message that live is temporarly unavaiable...

i talked yestarday with support, but he didint resolve nothing...

waht should i do?

well under the parental email

goto manage child accounts

remove it

then add it again under the new account

all child accounts must have a parental account till it matures

I dont get prompted every time i sign in in my profile... when i add my son account into mine, i must folow the steps, and add info, and when i reach the part of accept terms. theres a signup error...

I enter that site with my acount and then with my son account, and im not prompter with terms... maybe ive already accept them in the past... cant remember.... i accept in xbox... that i remember.

It says i need a parent account to change my child account to a parent account but i dont have a parent account and it wont let me add one.

Only a parental (adult account) can change the privacy settings for a child account. Your parents should open an adult account and add your child account to it.

Thank you for contacting Forum support!

Did you set up the account as a child? (young age)

Did the account ever ask to graduate or is it set up with restrictions, if it is then more than likely the account is still a "Child" account.

Try to add the parent account to the child or if the parent account was never made then make one.

How to add a child to a family account.

Create a new parent account and add the child account to it by signing in with the new parental account at account.microsoft.com/family

A child account needs a parental account associated with it. Just follow the instructions to add the parental account (it usually asks for the email info of the parent).
