  1. Add Audio from Headset or Kinect into Game DVR

Hello everyone! I had just wanted to post this out here so the Xbox Team can take notes.

We all have bad experiences with our Game DVR not taking any audio. In fact we have to use either Twitch (which sucked when it was on Xbox) or BEAM Broadcasting. (Which is way to complex to even use)

So instead of giving us these types of different broadcasting systems, why not give us three to choose from. Here they are:

Twitch (For people who still like to use it)

    BEAM (For really experienced broadcasters)

and YouTube (Linked with our accounts through the YouTube App)

Before we even upload our livestream/video to these sites (using YouTube as an Example) we can go through it and edit parts, cut frames, use intro's we created or downloaded. use sound effects when they are necessary, and use music clips we love (non copyright
though, unless we have permission to do so)

This will make Xbox even better if you allow us to use YouTube and edit our homemade videos without having to use a connected PC.

Please try and do this Xbox. You might even earn more money through the Xbox One before Project Scorpio releases out to the public.

Thanks for reading, and post your answers in the comments.

    :)

Turtle Beach PX21 on Xbox One Question

I don't have an Xbox One yet but I wanted to ask this question first:

The Turtle Beach website says "*Please note that you will need to connect this headset to the stereo outputs from your TV or audio receiver for game audio
and use the Kinect® for game chat with Xbox One."
So my question is, even with the headset adapter I will only hear game audio and people talking through my headset, but I will only be able to communicate through the
    Kinect?

  3. Xbox One w/ Astro Headset

I've used the kinect audio and headset audio equally and I have to say that the kinect audio from other players is quite annoying. It's very broken and sounds very distant. Also, i'm unable to be understood on the kinect as opposed to the headset. I only
have the standard headset at the moment but am going to get the Turtle Beach one soon.

My current turtle beach headset with the xboxONE

There should be a setting in the dash, much the like the 360 that will allow you to route chat audio through your audio output to you TV or whatever you have connected to the XB1 audio output eg. your Turtle Beach headset. Once you have your headset on
you should be able to use the kinect mic to speak to your friends and in game parties. So really the only thing missing is a mic connection from the headset but that can be substituted with the kinect mic iirc.

I believe that you can use the headset for the in-game audio and use Kinect as the chat mic.

    Headset ?

To answer your question yes, but please read the whole post: Turtle Beach said:

    Microsoft says:

The following 3.5-mm audio headset types are supported:

A single 3.5-mm audio cable headset.

A dual 3.5-mm audio cable headset with 3.5-mm CTIA audio cables.

A headset with chat audio provided by a 3.5-mm audio cable and game audio provided by a separate cable with RCA or optical connectors. (Only chat audio will be enabled through the Stereo Headset Adapter. For RCA/optical connectors [game audio], follow the
manufacturer’s instructions to connect to the console.)

An Xbox 360 Wired Headset with a 2.5-mm audio cable. Connect to the Stereo Headset Adapter by using the 2.5-mm-to-3.5mm adapter that’s included with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter.
