Add account to preview - per MS support

After a lengthy chat with MS support, attempting to fix sign in issues on my XB1, the support person asked me to post here and request that I be added to the preview.

Hi there,

As per the Preview Program terms and conditions, accounts with previous account suspensions will not be able to join.

To add to this, the Preview Program is at around maximum capacity, and is not currently looking to accept new members.

My console keeps locking up every time I try and install a new game.

In the most extreme case a factory reset maybe in order. What you can try to do first is a couple of things, remove your primary account from the xbox and then re-add the primary account (make sure you know the password). This will force xbox live to sync with the console. If you suspect you have networking issues, clear your mac address and hard reset the console. That is the easiest thing to try first. If the problem persists contact support. Also are you a member of the preview program or no ?

 

Sorry, but support is incorrect. No one here can add you to the preview program. You would need to have someone who is already in the preview program send you an invite. Invites are not given via the forums. Keep in mind that being invited does not guarantee
you will be accepted into the program. They've also just started accepting people again and there is quite a large waitlist so it can take a while to be accepted.

 

Smwutches is right. But I think what support meant was to look for someone who is a preview member to invite you to the program. And not let anybody from here add you right then and there. Hopefully a good soul would invite you.

 

The curious thing is, the support person commented that I was in the preview program already (according to my account), and therefore wanted me to post about my issue here, thinking it was because I'm running a preview OS (I'm not). Perhaps he thought there
was a support forum specific to the preview program?

There is a forum for Preview member but to log in you have to be a member. The people in support have little correct information regarding the preview program. They give people the incorrect information all the time. You have been provided the information
