    Add a phone number


    Alright so by the title I'm trying to add a phone number for Microsoft rewards. I've got to the part where you put in the same code that was sent to your phone two time and after the second time entered I get to many failed password attempts message. Mind I haven't failed any attempts to log in or codes entered at all and due to this i can't enter my phone number on the account. Also can't contact support because it's non existent.

    Can you try this..

    Sign in to Manage how you sign in to Microsoft.

    2)Remove phone number in Account aliases.

    3)Add phone number to account.

    Sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Are you suggesting that when you are typing in the 2-Step Verification code that you are texted is not being recognized, or the phone number is not being accepted?
