Add a parent

A child account needs a parental account associated with it. Just follow the instructions to add the parental account (it usually asks for the email info of the parent).

Create a new parent account and add the child account to it by signing in with the new parental account at account.microsoft.com/family

his parental account must be the same primary account

his primary must remove him from the plan then goto accounts.live.com and manage parental account

remove the child

then he has to login

then add your primary account as the parental account

then you may go In and add him

It says i need a parent account to change my child account to a parent account but i dont have a parent account and it wont let me add one.
