Add 48p and 16:9 Fullscreen for XBox One S 4K UHD Blu Ray player

These are the Support forums, but your post is more of a suggestion, so it would better reside over on the Xbox Feedback site. The Engineering Team uses that to gauge interest in features and so on, and several ideas suggested on the site have made into
the console already.

I love everything about the Xbox S except for the 4k blue ray player. I bought 2 4k UHD disks, The Revenant and Star Trek Into Darkness. The Revenant had major audio sync problems which just come and go. Star Trek Into Darkness would not even load. Returned

Hopefully Microsoft will be able to fix this quickly.

The blu ray player is up to date yeah

Are you playing these movies from a 4k UHD Blu Ray or streaming service? If from disk, have you updated the Blu Ray player app on the Xbox?

This is the exact same behaviour I find.

I have my Xbox One S set to UHD 4K resolution for my 4K TV and the games and UHD 4K Blu-rays work fine at that resolution but when I pop a DVD or standard Blu-ray disc in, all I get is a postage stamp sized video in the middle of the screen. I am assuming
that the fault lies with the player software and not the Xbox One S hardware.

Very disappointing as it means that I can't use the XBox One S to play all my disc based video content on my 4K TV

Can anyone from Microsoft shed any light as to a potential fix for this ?
