Adaptive controls for handicapped gamers

• Are you trying to use the adaptive controller alone or with the
  co-pilot feature?
• What
  external devices / accessories are you using with the Xbox Adaptive Controller?

I'll say this, Fortnite like many others is a game where physical ability is not a guarantee of any advantage - I'm an able bodied gamer, I have all the added advantages on top of that available to me (stable internet connection, Xbox One X, elite controller)
and even I'd be toast in a nano second! Like every other control mechanism the adaptive controller will take time to get used to & time still to master it, I've used it very briefly and I struggled mightily with it because I don't have every day experience
of using adapted items.

the aim isn't to discourage any type of gamer whether you are able bodied or disabled, gaming should be fun for all even If you do get killed

Keep your chin up and keep practicing. You can't expect to take out of the box and start winning instantly especially on games like Forrnite that has really good players.

My sons and his friends are all aged 7 to 11 and they'd all smoke me in that game.

Don't get discouraged.
