Adaptive controller & easy games

Hmmm, one piece of advice I could suggest might be to consider subscribing to Xbox Game Pass. The service, US$9.99/month, allows unlimited access to dozens of games of all types. You can try a number of games and see what your son likes and what is appropriate
for him, then buy them using the discount you get for being a subscriber. After you have tried a few, you could cancel your Game Pass subscription and just play the games you've bought, and use those as a guide for future purchases ... or you could keep Game
Pass and see what becomes available in the future!

First off, i see that you've " got it going on". Lol... I too have a son with CP. I've been looking for the same thing. Also got Game pass to try and find an easy game to play. So far, Joy Ride Turbo seems the most forgiving. We have the adaptive controller
and one handed contoller with it. Although currently searching how to map the one handed front buttons. Hope this helps!

Randy has an excellent suggestion of trying out Game Pass, which has many many options to try at a low monthly cost. I'd also recommend looking into something like Minecraft, which is an easy game to start with, and can provide so much to do while learning
his way around the controller.

I have a new adaptive controller and have the adaptive joystick plugged into the usb on the left side of the adaptive controller, yet the joystick will not control the left thumbstick in any direction. This is my 2nd adaptive controller keyboard and
first joystick ( first thought pads on adaptive controller were touch pads). I’m hoping someone else has had this issue and is an easy fix. I turn the adaptive controller on first, then my regular controller. I’m praying this is not a second return of the
adaptive controller or a first of the joystick.

For pairing problems, as I mentioned above one quick and easy way to get the device paired is to plug in an adapter, then plug in your controller through a wired USB. The driver stack will automatically pair it to the plugged in adapter so that when you
unplug the wired controller, it will bind to the adapter. This is exactly how it is on the Xbox console.

Regarding not syncing after say a reboot, please bear in mind though that the controller can only "remember" one adapter at a time, which means plugging in to a console or binding/pairing to a console or to another PC adapter, will erase the controller's
memory of the adapter it was originally bound to.

Usually if the controller has not been repaired, an unplug/replug of the adapter is enough to reset it.
