Adaptive Controller doesn't work with recommended Logitech joystick

I can't get the Logitech G Extreme 3D Pro Joystick to be recognized by either USB port of the Adaptive Controller even though it's supposed to be fully supported. For example, Xbox Accessories doesn't register anything when moving joystick, nor does the Game Controllers testing in Windows 10. In addition to USB-C, I've tried with providing power to the 5V input as well with no luck.

Inputs connected to the 3.5mm work, as well as all of the buttons. It's just the two USB port inputs that I can't get to work with everything I try. Does anybody have specific steps to follow to get joystick input to work?

There are still sticks of the old model in the wild. Someone else got one a few months ago, so it was a good place to start

There is a new version of it that does work. Contact Logitech support

I talked to three different Microsoft support people and it seems that my particular Adaptive Controller's input USB ports are defective even though everything else about controller works and the Logitech joystick also works when connected directly outside of adaptive controller.

They are sending a replacement. I will hopefully be able to report back that this was a bad luck case instead of something that would affect more people.

I think that the controller you purchased is quite older than you think. Look at the supported operating systems! This is from your link.
