Adaptive Controller button combinations

I am wondering gow to set up a button combination on the Xbox Adaptive controller. For example i would like to be able to click a botton switch connected the adaptive controller that coyld execute a Left Bumper (LV) + B button combo.

Can you set up combos like is in the configuration app?

Can i connect one switch to 2 seperate 3.5mm inputs to execute thus kind of combination?

Some games like Elite Dangerous require many kinds of combinations and it would be neat to merge them on to a single switch.

How do I use the adaptive controller to play fornite?

Hey Ellaconroy! Thank you so much for posting your question. The Adaptive Controller is capable of mapping buttons to your liking and using the ports in the back to plug in any separate accessory that will then correspond to that respective button.

Using the Xbox Accessories App you can set up the controller to your liking, and connect any external devices you may have.

I don't think you can bind 2 buttons to a simultaneous order.

So yeah, I looked into this, and it seems that you can't map switch to be used for multiple buttons at once.

You do have the option to map
something to be used as Shift if you want to switch between two buttons on the fly for one switch, though I don't think that's exactly what you're looking for it to do.

Sorry, let me clarify:

I would like to be able to push one button (say a footswitch that is connected to ‘X’) and have it trigger say both ‘X’ and ‘B’. I wonder if i could just connect the foot switch to both the ‘X’ and ‘B’ 3.55 input jacks would accomplish this. Thoughts?

 

That should do the trick. Yes. Or if that doesn't work, you could mechanically solve this, by putting the two buttons under a bar or pedal or otherwise connect the two, so if you step on that pedal, you're depressing both switches at the same time.
