    Hey everyone!

    I've recently bought new headphones for pc gaming and but they have a usb connection. I completely forgot that the Xbox1 controller is a 3.5mm jack connection ‍♀️

    I saw online a jack male to usb female adapter.

    My question is: does this work?! Has anyone tried it before or is it this an impossible thing?

    Therr sre some from amazon specificy for the xbox one usb to 3.5 or a bluetooth adapter type but since they arent licensed you have to roll the dice and hope for support from that manufacturer

    I bought one recently thinking it would work. The short answer is no if its the one that mentions connecting to your car stereo as its a data connector that goes one way.

    I had success picking up the XBox1 adapter that snaps onto the base of my stock controller. While I could plug my cans directly into the controller, the ~$30 adapter seemed to improve the sound quality & headphone-console compatibility.

    I now want better audio quality... am exploring console... TOSlink... DAC/amp.... headphone options. That are less than $300. Sound BlasterX 5G? Schiit Audio? Wish me luck...
