    Ad on XB1 promoted learning from expert Minecraft Developers. Nothing to do with DEV or even MC


    My landing page on XB1 showed an Ad that promoted learning from expert Minecraft Developers. This turns out to be an unrelated link to a chat room hosted via beam which was little more than an emojis and snark spam-fest - all of which had nothing to do with
    the anything the promotional ad claimed.

    How do I remove this app which is falsely advertising services that i does not deliver any aspect of what MS is claiming in their XB1 ad?

    I have been playing minecraft for a little while, however I would not say I am an expert. Definitely still learning. I don't have any special maps or games, but I would love friends to play with.

    NanoTechSoldier, you do realize nothing in this Topic had anything to do with Dev Kits and absolutely nothing to do with Indie Developers?

    All it takes to Develop an Indie Game for the Xbox 360 is a PC that can run Microsoft Visual Studio and a little understanding of C#. In short, there is no "Dev Kit" for Indie Games.

    I know it was announced in June that Unity would be partnering with XB1, but I don't think it was announced that it would be completely free for every indie developer to use. I think that's the big part of the story; now indie devs will have a free XB1 engine
    to use, saving them even more money they may not have.

    Microsoft please fight back

    MS is fighting back. They've spoken many times about the 1080p vs. 720p question and have repeatedly stated it doesn't matter that much. But no one believes them, partly because the other console maker is making an issue out of it. Developers have also chimed
    in, stating the other console is easier to program for, and MS has spoken to that issue also, noting that as devs learn the XB1 architecture it will be easier for them. What else do you want them to do?
