Actvity feed, Community store and such showing up blank

Hey everyone, not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes.

Just now I powered up my xbox one, I'm usually greeting by the new layout and such for the new experience and I was the difference though was that my activity feed/community, Oneguide, Store and so on were all blank as if they were never there.

I did a restart of my console from the settings tab thing and everything was back to normal, I've had this issue twice now, both fixed doing the same thing. I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem?

For some kind of tech specs I am running my console in power saving mode and my internet connect is decent, two bars but it runs like it's right next to the console, Using the ethernet isnt an option due to the distance between the console ( my room ) and
the router ( in the living room ).

I would also like to mention that this never happened before the New experience update. So some closure and/or support would be most helpful.

Feed Activity issue

My xbox actvity feed is not showing by 2 weeks Help me please

 

Achievements not showing up in activity feed.

Achievements are unlocking and showing up on my account but my activity feed is blank. I can see my friend's achievements on my feed but not my own anyone else having this problem? It's been like this for a while for me at least a few weeks.

 

You're not alone. I had this also but it only started to occur about 36 hours post update. Could be populated by restarting console or refreshing dash by pulling both triggers and then hitting y. But then issue would return if console had been shut down
for more than say an hour.

My console was wired direct and I'm in the uk. Support had me do full factory reset which didn't cure fault. I then redeleted profile , forced reset the console then removed power brick for 5 minutes.

Then powered back up and redownloaded profile. Touch wood it's not booted up with anything missing but often have to manually refresh the community feed.

Internet itself is fine and all the network tests pass. I've seen posts from other folk saying they've had to manually update the community feed so im guessing its an OS issue..

Which guess means having to wait for a fix. But no it's not been just you.

 

Thanks for replying, knowing it's not just me has put my mind at ease somewhat. And I too was told by Xbox support the same thing and did everything you did but to no avail.

here's hoping the techies or whatever at xbox central are or more aware of this issue and drop a fix soon. it's really annoying having to basically boot up my console twice.

 

As has seeing your post has eased mine. Had I seen it I wouldn't have factory reset and had to download a bucketload of games again.

Can I ask where you're located in case it's a regional thing . I'm in the UK. Rather than boot it up twice just try the triggers and Y button trick.

I guess if more people report it then it might get addressed faster

 

I am UK also. and i'll keep the trick in mind.

 

I've also noticed that the info in trending TV doesn't update properly so,if you could just have acquiring look to see if the tines are correct. Ignore that if your STB isn't passing through your console.

Are you also having to refresh the community tab to refresh the feed!?

The issues we're having are too similar for it not to be an issue with the update.

 

Now that you mention it, I just refreshed my activity and saw a few new things.

i don't bother with the tv thing so i wouldn't know.

It simply must be an issue with the new update.

 

Yeah. I agree. Oh well guess we just have to hope it's sorted. As everything else in NXOE seems to work really well..

Ive tweeted @xboxsupport with this thread so to let them know but then they should do already. I'd put money on there being a whole lot of people with the issue.

 

Yeah the rest of the update is fine and better than the previous version, its just those two issues. the blank start up and the activity thing.

again heres hoping for a fix soon!

 

Just been scrolling through xbox supports twitter feed and spotted at least one other user with exactly the same issue.

That settles it.. It's the update

No , looks like they're in Italy. As is another one I've just spotted. If you have an account tweet xboxsupport , might help them go recognise it as a known issue which it clearly is
