Actually, this game sucks.

I really like the look of this game and while I don't currently own an Xbox One, I do want to get one for Christmas and get games like Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5 etc.

Agree with GaussianFlaw on this one, when you can take one a handicapped game single handedly you feel like a true spartan...even if all you did was spam the prophets beams for the entire match

 

But Christmas is years away!! You're gonna miss all the fun

 

I bought the Xbox One Titanfall bundle and I'm more disappointed in the overblown hype of the Xbox One than I am about Titanfall. Had I known how awful the Xbox One was, I'd have waited for the 360 version of Titanfall.

I do agree with the comment above that being stuck on a losing team is stupid. It should shuffle things up after every match and only keep people together if they are in a party. I've joined teams that got SLAUGHTERED by the other team. First thing everybody
does is bail which stresses the system as well as screws the other team a little bit. If it shuffled things up and tried to balance teams, everybody would have a much better experience.

 

man ain't that the truth....the Xbox One is awesome on paper, but in application it can be....messy.....mine ate my gold status, 6 years of paid membership and all of a sudden yesterday my console refuses to recognize my gold status...I call XBL techheads
and they verify I'm both gold and in good standing but my console itself refuses to accept reality...they even delete my card and give me a prepaid code and still my XB1 refuses to accept it ...so I got handed to .....(drum roll)...."Tier 3 tech support" because
the regular techies on 18004MYXBOX don't know how to fix it....despite the constant spouting of "this is a known issue sir" ...which is to say the least very confidence inspiring ....ofcourse today, my console accepts that I'm gold, but now I show as a silver
here on the forums ....yup, XBL and its newest cash-cow sure has its act together

 

I don't understand how the OP states titanfall being a bad game to be be fact. This is an incredibly ridiculous statement. Could it have used multiplayer? Sure , but the gameplay more than makes up for it. It's one of the most balanced out of the box shooters
I have ever played, and on top of that, it doesn't have a steep learning curve, and is fun enough for any gamer to play. I finally have a game everyone on my list can play and have the same amount of fun.

So you don't like the game because you can't play a campaign finish it in 20 minutes than go and play some half assed multiplayer, the reasson there is no traditional campaign is so Respawn could make a BALANCED multiplayer and this is one of the most balanced
shooters i've played since COD 4, bout the only thing I have a beef with is the carbine but it's not leaps and bounds ahead of any of the other guns

 

^^Burn Cards are balanced, especially if the enemy doesnt have any.

 

They are balanced because if a guy burns his best card in his deck, and gets hit in the side of the face by a stray round before he can actually utilize it, he's done, and that card is gone. It's not some perk they can use again and again. 3 times in one
match at the most.

 

^^So "randomness" is "balance"? Not. Thats whats hurt CoD. The whole game is "random" now. Balance was competetive CoD settings about 4 or 5 years ago.

 

No, Call of Duty is planned now. The same perks, the same killstreaks. Game after game. After using Burn Cards, I doubt it would be easy for me to go back.

 

I just got my x1 yesterday and because my internet is not the best its been on all night downloading the game. I hope to give it a go when i get home tonight.

TBH I've stuggled with MP games for a while as i just wasnt able to put the time in. I'm looking forward to titanfall as it seems its not too hardcore and that for people like me it might be fun to play.

I'm treating the game as a freebie since it came with the console for £399 so if i dont like it I dont think i'll feel like i've lost anything.

 

No. I knew it was all multiplayer before I bought it. You didn't? I knew there was no traditional co-op? You didn't?
