Activity Feeds Just Got Even More Annoying!!!

It's really in an area that doesn't demand your attention, IMO. I mean it's there, but you don't have to bother with it.

That being said, I want rid of it. I don't FB or twitter or any of that. But, every time I check my F/L that feed is there and my eye wanders over to the "Have something to say?" text above the box... Yes! As a matter of fact I do have something to **** say!
In fact there are a lot of things I'd like to **** say!

And I'd get banned for every one of them... so I want rid of it.

 

Me too. Don't like it and would love to get rid of it.

 

I like the new feed. You can always unfriend people if they become annoying. It's almost like Facebook now. Lol.

 

I never saw the point to the feed in the first place so I just ignored it, now I'll check it every so often to have a laugh. I believe the feed is only as annoying as the friends you have on the Xbox. I personally love all my friends on the Xbox so I don't
mind seeing what they have to say.

I actually feel sorry for my Xbox friends though, hahaha.

 

I've already had 1 or 2 friends like absolutely everything on my feed. I check for activity alerts and there's like 20 likes from these particular individuals. I messaged them asking them why they were liking everything and their responses were funny: "Just
'cause I could" and "I did it because you're so awesome!" So, yeah...

 

The feed is a non issue for me. I don't like to interact with people that much.

I like the activity feed. I like being able to comment on achievements or clips directly

 

I think that is its best use @bowski just to let people know that they have seen/enjoyed it.

 

Not an issue for me cuz I dont spend allllllllll day on it I only spend a few seconds on it and I play way more on 360 so . Xbox live is a social experience.

 

As much as I hate the feed, its an easy way to get rid of the ignorant idiots on your FL instantly and to find what people truly are. Noticed a random racist remark in there that resulted in someone instantly added to the block feature. So I might
skim through once in a while to thin out the idots. Like I did on the PS3. .

 

^^ I did similar. The comments and posts were 100% not racist or anything but they were just plain rubbish. Deleted the user off my friends list as they were annoying as hell.

 

I am still not that comfortable having these random "followers". But I think setting my status and other settings to "friends only" might help prevent them from interacting with me too much. Hopefully. Not sure if followers can reply in the feed or only
friends. Just trying to eliminate as much garbage as possible.

 

I'm quite anti "social media", I have accounts but do not use them. That said, I like the new Xbox Feed. I come to these forums to talk games, so being able to comment/like/share stuff about gaming on the console is a good thing.

Almost everything I've seen so far is gaming talk, and plenty of perfectly relevant conversations. Another plus is it's easy to spot people you shouldn't have on your list.

I'm not going to actively use it per-se, but for stuff like help with achievements, cool videos, interesting ccomments etc.. I am glad it's there as a feature.

 

Its kind of cool I suppose although I like the old feed a bit better.

I think it just looked better.

Not many people on my friend list have made status's or anything so I guess I have nothing to complain about there haha.
