Activity Feed

It worked perfectly at first , but now I got the same problem... I can only see about 4 friends on the feed (I got around 20 friends)...

Gaah!! I loved the feed !! Please Microsoft .. make it work again!!

 

I did call support this weekend. They had no idea what was going on with it. The rep I spoke to is aware of this thread (and read through it while I was on the phone with her) and was going to make sure it was looked at further to see if anyone could find
a fix to try.

Also, I spoke with a buddy of mine today... He has used SmartGlass a decent amount and has no problems with his Activity Feed. He sees stuff from me, but I have not seen anything from his and he checked his privacy settings to be sure. Another friend of
ours can see his activities just fine.

 

For example... Today I just got home from work and turned it on. It had nothing at all showing besides the initial statement like "this is your activity feed. When people you know do something..."

Completely blank. Closed it and restarted the app. The same message showed. Third time I launched it... Showed a buddy of mine having played Skylanders 4 days ago on the 360 and showed nothing else. That wasn't even in my feed last night, but it shows today
as the only activity any of the 37 friends on my list. My wife did Xbox Fitness before she left for work today, and despite being on the same console... Hers doesn't even show up in my feed (and I have obviously been able to verify her privacy settings since
the profile is on my console).

 

I was just about to call support, thanks for saving me from the agony. I'm glad they are aware now. Its a feature I thought i wouldnt care about, but i actually like it. Creates rivalries.

 

i also have this problem i called support they told me to use the forms to get help. does any one have a solution to this problem ?

 

Not to de-rail the topic, but OutlawfrmtheWst and I played against each other on Battlefield 4 a couple nights ago. Never met the guy. Small world!

Also, I hope they fix this problem in the XO update later this month. My symptoms went away for one day after clearing the cache. I HAVE noticed my friends will randomly start to populate back in the activity feed if I switch from my account to my wife's
or kids accounts. Odd indeed. I believe the fix is completely on Xbox's side and not on the gamer.

 

I was playing around with it today, and when I created a brand new account, the feed for THAT account works. But when I go back to my main one its still says nothing. I just added my two accounts as friends. How does that make any sense? Same settings same
console same everything. I just don't get it.

 

I just go off a chat session with microsoft support (have you guys tried this? surprisingly very helpful and pleasant). They said theres some kind of maintenance going on, and then they did something on their end and told me in 24 hours to re add my account
to the system.

One thing is, I do not know if this is specifically for my account only. They may have done something for me personally, which means this wont work for you. I will test this out in 24 hours and let you know, in which case you all might have to hit up a microsoft
support chat.

Also, has anyone done this already? I would rather not get my hopes up if this is just some ploy they send you on to shut you up for the next 24 hours.

 

I've tried removing g my profile and adding it back on the console earlier to no avail. Guess this could possibly be a fix for yours alone? Wish I knew what they did on the back end. As far as maintenance goes... This has been a long maintenance window if
that is the case unless they are applying a fix now and in 24 hours or so it will correct itself. Hope that is the case. I'll sit back and see if it works then Thanks for the update.

 

Same problem with mine guys, 3 Xbox ones in my house,

Both my sons activity shows up to my console, Yet nothing from me shows up in any of their 2 Xbox ones, tried my profile on each console but produces same results, also their profiles on my console provides same results for their profiles ( working fine
) So i can confirm it is definately an issue with the profile, but on MS end, as ive removed and readded to no change,

Just gotta wait for a fix i suppose

 

Been 24 hours, tried the rec commended method and nothing. Sounds like they just wanted to shut me up for 24 hours. Will be calling back today with a much more serious tone.

 

Thanks for the update. Was actually about to post and ask if you had any luck. No change here either. Except that today it is a blank field saying I'll see the action there when someone does something. Would be nice for someone to post from Microsoft to
acknowledge it is a known issue and being worked on.

 

Ya that's what mine has been saying for weeks now. I believe we are all having the same problem. Just got off with microsoft support, they directed me to a specialist who pretty much had no resolution. She said : " We are doing some maintenance on the xbox
and servers right now for the new update which is causing your problem." i asked SPECIFICALLY if they knew this exact thing was a problem, and that it would be fixed with the upcoming update, she said yes.

Asked for an ETA on the update, she said she doesnt have that unfortunatley, but it should be relatively soon, if she could take a guess she said a month or so.

Looks like were forced to shut up for a month now.

 

The last 2 weeks i have the same activity feed problems. (The first 2 month it al work fine)

10 of my 40 friends not showing there feeds on my Xbox One or Smartglass.

Some profile are empty or showing only movie clips, but if i look to Major Nelson profile then it show on my Xbox One his activity feed till 31-12-2013 and then it stops ? But when i look at his movie clips then it's uploaded 1 or 2 day's ago. Strange stuff
is going on.

 

Having same problems. Kinda sucks
