Activity feed notifications on xbox one?

Hi does anyone know how I can receive notifications on my screen when someone likes, shares or adds me as a friend on xbox one? I went to my settings and it shows that all notifications are turned on so I'm not sure what to do.

This Makes Perfect Sense!

As someone who actually checks his activity feed, I'm grateful they don't have pop-up notifications for followers - it would drive me crazy!

...although making it optional might've been nice.

The work around to not having notifications is to snap your activity feed

 

Is your account an adult, teen or child?

For adults, anyone can comment on posts in your activity feed. To change who can add comments, update your privacy settings under Communicate with voice and text. You can do this in the Friends app by selecting My profile, Privacy settings, and then Communicate
with voice and text.

Adults can also see comments and captions made by anyone else on Xbox Live. If that doesn't appeal to you, you can change it in your privacy settings under See content other people make. You can do this in the Friends app by selecting My profile, Privacy
settings, and then See content other people make.

In both cases, teens and children start with more restrictive settings.

This has been an ongoing issue for me for a very, very long time. I'd say since the NXOE initial rollout. I've spoken with support, but I keep getting the same answers. I've done it all: checked settings, messed with privacy, hard reset, factory reset...everything
I can think of. It just doesn't work for everyone and no one seems to care.

Supposed to cultivate a social experience, but I can't even get activity feed notifications. Get them on my phone app every time, but not on console. My friends get them sometimes, but it takes hours, days, weeks. Something isn't right, and it needs acknowledged.
If the Creator's Update doesn't fix it, then it's a lost cause.
