    Activity Alerts displaying "0"


    Hi There,



    My profile keeps on displaying "0" activity alerts on the friends page since the October Update. When I go into the activity alerts page, it then shows I actually have new, recent activity. On the same Xbox One and network, my wife is able to see her
    activity alerts notifications on the dashboard and in the friends page.

    Activity alerts error

    I am having this same error and I have rebooted my Xbox One twice. My activity alerts keeps displaying "0", after clicking on it, I can clearly see new updates. This only happened after the October Update.

    I have exactly the same problem.

    My alert activity remains stuck at 0 since last October update... I try Hard Reset but it will solve nothing.

    I have tried hard resetting multiple times, it does nothing. My other friends on Xbox Live are experiencing the same issue. Now my Wife can't see hers either.

    Hey guys!

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Please try removing your profiles from your Xbox One console. Then try following each of the following power cycle
    steps before you add your profile back to your Xbox One console.

    • Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
    • Once the Xbox One console powers off, unplug your power cable from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • Plug in and power on the Xbox One console.
    • Add your Xbox Live profile to the Xbox One and check Activity Alerts.
    Try each of the steps above and let us know how it goes! If you are participating in the Preview Program, post any details you have in the

    Hey guys,

    I'm sorry to hear you're still experiencing this issue. Would both of you be able to be able to tell me your OS version number? To get there follow these steps.

    • Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select Settings.
    • Select System.
    • In the System menu, select Console Info.
    • From there you can see your OS version.
    That info would help us a lot!

    Activity Alerts displaying "0"

    Thank you guys for your patience with this. Can you each tell me when your most recent Activity Alert was? For example, my most recent Activity Alert was "*Player Name* added you as a friend: 1m ago". Once you view your Activity Alert, the number displays
    0 because it isn't a new alert, or marked as read. If you were to receive a new Friend Request, it should show as "Activity Alert: 1". If you view your Activity Alerts on a mobile device, it will show 0 on the console.

    My most recent activity is :

    "Roxyraider liked your activity - 14m ago"

    On Xbox One my alert activity always at 0.

    But if sometimes I look my Alert Activity on my mobile phone (Xbox smart glass) it works perfectly.

    Sorry if my English is not very good Activity Alerts displaying "0" ;)

    Hi Mister Beep,

    I actively get notifications daily but it always says "0". Smartglass works fine, it's just the console itself that shows "0" activity alerts at all times. It only happened after the October update, it worked fine before. This is also happening to other
    gamers on my Friends list as well.
