After playing Plants vs Zombies and the ntaking a break for a few months while playing all the new "AAA" releases over the summer/fall, I found myself going through my old game stash and haven;t put this game down since popping it in the first week of
December. 1. They have released multiple DLC packs and extra content for FREE! 2. They are releaseing all kinds of "Holiday" themed goodies for FREE! And they don't nickel and dime their players like the aforementioned two corporate thieves have. I can honestly
say that I have put in more time with game just killing a few hours a day lately than I have in months playing either COD or Titanfall. I want more of their games on Xbox One...and 3rd, they also bring great prices on their games! PvZ is definitely one of
the sleepers of the year!

:)

Mass Effect continues beyond the trilogy...
Expect a ME game every year or every two years.....
To be fair, that's more of an Activision/Ubisoft thing these days.

more just activision, I mean when was the last Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six? also the only franchises EA puts out every year are NFS and the sports titles (the bulk of their profits Im sure). on its other franchises (C&C for one) usually takes 2-2.5 years between
releases.

also (this is towards Chyron) whats wrong with a 2 year development cycle? first off you get more content to gamers (what we want) and it doesn't hamper the developers ability to make the game considering you can start development on game y while finishing
game x.

Your thread title is backwards...Popcap could learn a thing or two from Activision and Ubisoft. Activision and Ubi are two of the biggest publishers of video games, tons of cash to spend and a huge dedicated fanbase. Why take a page out of PopCaps playbook
and offer free DLC when milking your customers is good for shareholders?

5. I agree with Dwoop here. Even though you're right as well Akame, getting the love and trust of your customers should always come first - any company that forgets that will eventually be doomed to fail.

It would be nice, but it'll never happen. If Pop Cap start making AAA games, then they will probably do what EA is doing.

11. Low-key devs will do anything to appease the masses. One day your beloved PopCap will offer the same practices as EA and Ubisoft. Not even the "For the gamers!" Naughty Dog could stay clean for long.

I have always been a big fan of PvZ! Great game, good value for your money. Plus all the "free" content! Top notch!
