Activision account email loss

Right i have a 12 year old Activision account that is linked to a 14yr old hotmail email that was hacked a few years ago and have not been unable to access it since. I can still use and access my Activision as its been linked to my xbox for just as long but im unable to change email, password, name ect as it sends verification to the unaccessible email. I have tried hotmail account recovery but no luck and Activision themselves have not replied or if they have its through the mentioned email despite in the notes giving new one to contact me. Does anyone have a fix because if i start a new Activision account i lose all my paid content, also as soon as i unlink my xbox i will lose all access to the account and will never be able to get back in

Hi mate, i appreciate your time to reply but i know all that, my message was asking if anyone knew of a way for me to prevent losing my data and changing my email on my current Activision without access to my old email.

Yes, if you delete the Activision account your progress and all the content related to this account is going to be deleted

According to Activision this happens if you decide to unlink your Activision account from your Xbox account:

"Game progress in Call of Duty: Vanguard, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Warzone is stored on your Activision account, not your platform account. If you choose to link your platform account to another Activision account, your progress will not carry over. Your progress and content aren't lost. If you relink this platform account to the original Activision account, you can continue your progression and access your owned content."

Hi rob, bo help with Microsoft so ive given up on the email.

However i managed to get Activision to change it via complaint procedure on this website https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/santa-monica/profile/wholesale-video-games/activision-blizzard-inc-1216-13075134/

When you get on it scroll down untill you see file complaint and follow instructions. It takes 3-5 days to for responses but it sorted it for me. When filing your complaint explain everything to them. Also when you receive a reply and off to reply to them it asks you if your satisfied with the response (YOU MUST SELECT NO UNTIL THE ISSUE IS COMPLETELY RESOLVED) or it will close the case and you will not be able to reply to them next time they reply.
