    My xbox 360 has literally took 5 hours today to get from 68% to 88% download the map pack 'vengance' for cod black ops 2. My internet is working normally. anybody have any ideas as to why its being so slow?

    Marketplace games taking hours to download

    The marketplace is not known for its download speeds unless you have super fast internet. That is why you pre load pre release games if that is the route you are taking. I went digital with dragon age but it is already installed due to EA Access and bought
    a physical copy of GTA V.

    You're probably playing online when the item is downloading because it will say pending when the item isnt downloading so that might be the reason why

    it has got to be your internet providers upload rate. Do you have any idea what that number is? Who are you using for your internet?

    Thanks for answering! Ive not got a clue - been trying to get blops2 game update for about 50 mins now - 90% done.

    Internet is with sky - I've recently changed, and was appalling with previous ISP also, so it's got to be Xbox rather than Internet.
