    active code that does not work


    I have an active code for halo 5. when i try to redeem the code it gives me a message "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page." I spoke with Brady D. on xbox support and he confirmed the code
    is active. all steps that we took to redeem the code for the game i purchased end up not working and getting the above message. Brady D. suggested I post on the forum so a moderator can figure out why the code is not working and why i am receiving that message
    or a moderator can provide me with a functioning code. thank you for your time

    Gold trial codes can be used on any account that does not have an active gold subscription. It doesn't matter if you've previously had gold.

    Hello, you need to look for error codes. This is maybe an item that could have expired too. I dont think a check would work for this case. You need to have proof via your account that it was purchased.
