Xbox Live hard to cancel

I got a deal when I set up my new profile on a 3 month subscription to Xbox Live. I paid $9.99 for 3 months. Then I forgot to cancel it and they automatically charged my card. I just figured out how to remove the automatic renewal but I have a charge pending for another 3 months. It is so hard to cancel a subscription.

ERROR the current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live

Hey so i just bought my xbox and i made my new acc, i activated a 3 month subscription to xbox live i bought at gamestop, so everything is good, i can add friends change my gt and all, but when i try to play a game (MW2) online, i get the message of "the
current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live" even though i have xbox live.

please help and thanks!

We appreciate you reaching out to us. Typically for issues like this, it means that your account doesn't have access to those games anymore. If you check you list of
purchases made on your account, if they aren't listed there, this means you do not own the title (Unless it's on a disc) and would need to purchase the game to play. If you were using someone's games
through game share, we recommend reaching out to them as access may have been revoked or given to someone else. Happy gaming!

I would like to add that I have this issue, too. Mine is a two month subscription that will not allow me to play online. I have tried signing out and signing back on, and restarting my xbox. I just activated the two month renewal last night.

Thanks for your prompt response. Do you know also... With the 3 month subscription, does this allow you to download games to use after the subscription expires or do you need to have an continuous active subscription to use games? (gaming clueless mum

Yeah so 3:2 is for converting an active core subscription to ultimate.
Not redeeming a 3 month core code to an active ultimate.

I purchased a 3 month card, my xbox would not allow me to activate it on the system, it kept telling me my password was associated with another live profile, however it would allow me to activate it on my laptop with the same info I tried to input in the
xbox, so now my card is activated but won't go to my system with my profile
