Actiontec ActionTec Q1000: Why do my Xbox say open net all things good then it will say ...

Router brand & model number: Actiontec Q1000 (Modem acts as both a router and modem)

Network Connection Type: Wired

Things you have tried: Port-Forwarding, most general troubleshooting

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Is NAT Type Open? Yes

Any Error Codes you encounter: None

What type of internet do you have? Broadband

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Qwest

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" and click on "More info", what is the exact message shown on screen?

W: 0000-000B

X: 0001-8005

Y: 20A8-4800

Z: 0000-0000

ID: FFFF-FFFF

When you say the Xbox works fine when connected to the Actiontec directly, but has NAT issues when connected to the Airport, are you
really sure you configured the Airport as a Wireless bridge?

If you connect the Xbox to the Apple Airport, and you check the IP address of the console, did the IP address change from being connected to the Actiontec and then being connected to the Apple?

If so, does forwarding the above ports in the Actiontec to the now current Xbox IP resolve it?

My current workaround is to bring out my old Linksys WRT160N as an AP, the xbox connected with the WRT160N with zero issues. I just don't understand why it will not connect with the Actiontec. Is it a known issue with Xbox and Actiontec modems?
