ACIV Season Pass 25% discount on AC:Liberation HD not being applied

The season pass for ACIV offered a 25% ($5) discount on the purchase of AC: Liberation HD. That discount is not working for some people.

"For a limited time only, all players that purchase or have already purchased the Season Pass for Assassin's Creed® IV Black Flag™ on Xbox 360 will receive 25% off their purchase of Assassin's Creed Liberation HD."

That discount is not being applied for many of us that bought the Season Pass at that time. A dashboard tile is supposed to appear on the "games" page that says "Assassin's Creed Liberation Special Offer" and has a picture of Aveline. This is not happening
for lots of people including me.

Thing I (and others) have tried.

1. clearing Xbox 360 cache

2. deleting the season pass and redownloading

3. restarting console (many times over)

4. calling Microsoft (they say its Ubisoft) and that there is nothing they can do (most don't even know what the offer is)

5. call Ubisoft and get the same as Microsoft only they say its Microsoft problem

6. waiting.... it's been well over 24 hrs since the game went live

The ubisoft forums offered no help from ubi themselves but that is where I gathered this info that was not from personal experience as I have tried to get mine.

Assassin's creed liberations HD price

For a limited time up until the first week of January, if you bought the AC IV season pass you also got a 25% discount on Liberation HD. It was in the AC IV season pass description then. You are supposed to get the 25% off if you buy Liberation HD in the
first 2 weeks after its release but the discount is not working for everyone. I have posted about this and tried to get it resolved through Xbox Forums, Ubisoft forums, Ubisoft Twitter support, Xbox twitter Support and Xbox Phone support. Nobody knows how
to fix it or why it works for some and not for others.

 

As AC4 season pass holder, I still got full charge on AC Liberation HD, rahter than the 25% off promised before

Hello,

I was AC4 Black Flag season pass owner--when I bought the season pass (full price, not at discount time) the note in Xbox marketplace is indicating along side the AC4 contents bought in a discounted rate of 20% (if buy one by one), the season pass owner
will have 25% off when buying the coming Assassin's Acreed Liberation HD.

Well, when AC Liberation HD came out, I checked the AC4 in-game store and did not find any link to AC Liberation HD, and had to buy from storefront in Xbox Marketplace, and the price is no different than the retail (can check by log off the LIVE account
and browsing on xbox.com).

I felt been cheated by either Ubisoft or MS on this empty promise of selling AC4 season pass.

How I can get this corrected?

 

It is an in game offer you do not receive the discount through Microsoft marketplace you have to go directly through the in game ubisoft store and as long you have the season pass it'll apply the discount

 

It's not DLC for Black Flag. It is not found in the in-game menu.

 

Sorry I'm Xbox support and that's the only steps Ubisoft have given us at all for this issue. I'm not sure then.

 

Just finished chatting with a representative. Had me clear system cache, delete profile, etc. The discount is still not showing up and it's really annoying.

At this point I'm going to wait for the inevitable 50% discount so I can get it for even cheaper :/

 

Just talked to support for over an hour about this and 90% of it consisted of her telling me Liberation doesn't exist for Xbox One and me telling her I have a 360.... again and again. Once that FINALLY sunk in, she told me I needed Blackflag for 360 to play
Liberation because it was dlc and it took a while to convince her it's an arcade game. I felt like I was losing my mind and I gave up when she finally told me to call Ubisoft which I told her I already did when I first began talking to her.
