    Achievent's issue on Xbox (Windows 10)


    Hello. I know this problem may be common in community (please excuse me for my English too). My issue is with 2 games I owned on Microsoft store its Halo Wars, State of Decay 2 (while I played in total of 2 days since 18 may preorder release I've got non
    of any progress or unlocked any achievement while am sure that I got at least 10 of them but in xbox windows app its non and they always stay locked ). Game progress don't count how many zeds got killed by me or any other progress. I've tried to register on
    TrueAchievement but my game tag cant be registered coz it says my game tag don't have any progress on it. Thanks to whoever can help me resolve this issue I've got!!

    Achievement Question For PC and Console?

    So to be Precise not all windows 10 games provide achievements with their games as opposed to the same game on Xbox. If its a play anywhere title the achievements are combined with Xbox One and if it Windows 10 they have a separate list if the developer
    chose to include achievements for their windows 10 game.

    Play anywhere overwritten my save

    Hi,

    There are several factors that we have to consider when troubleshooting issues syncing gamerscore and achievements earned while playing Xbox Play Anywhere games. Refer to the list below for more information:

    • Make sure you're using the same Microsoft account on Xbox One and Windows 10.
    • You've played the game online on both devices.
    • You're using the Xbox Play Anywhere version of the game on both devices.

    To verify if you're using the same profile, kindly sign in to the Xbox app on Windows 10 and at the upper left corner check if the gamertag is the same with your Xbox One gamertag.

    Also, we recommend checking the progress of your achievements online to verify if the console you've used to play the game has synchronized with Xbox Live. Here are the steps:

    1. Sign in at Xbox.com.
    2. Select your profile icon in the upper-right corner, and then select Profile.
    3. Tap or select Achievements.
    4. Select the title of the achievement you're trying to unlock.
    5. If the achievement appears under Achievements, it's already unlocked.
    Thanks for coming back to me. This isn't an issue with gamer score or achievements but with the save that is synced between windows 10 and xbox.

    I can confirm that both the xbox and windows 10 are using the same sign in, I'm using the same play anywhere version of the game and the achievements are on my account.

    This issue is that the save with my progress from the xbox has been overwritten by a brand new save from windows 10 loosing my progress to this point. I'm trying to find out 2 things:

    1. Is there a way to recover my lost save?

    2. Is it safe to play other play anywhere titles with out loosing my progress?

    The game now syncs fine between xbox and windows 10 but I would like to get my old save back if possible.
