Achievements Still Not Unlocking Correctly

Over a week ago, I posted a discussion about an issue I had with an achievement not unlocking correctly. It was from the game Alice: Madness Returns. I was playing the game on my XBox One finishing up the last remaining I had to unlock. The achievement
in question is a secret achievement called "Neighslayer". I unlocked it on Tuesday July 31. When I finished the game, I noticed that it still said 49/50 achievements on my profile. Yet when you select your achievements and look at them via the XBox 360 menu,
it shows that the achievement is unlocked at it says 50/50 unlocked. I tried many troubleshooting methods that were suggested to me. I removed my account. Re-added my account. Uninstalled the game, re-installed the game and posted on the forums. None of those
methods helped. I am beyond frustrated because I've had this problem for over a week and nothing has been done to fix it.

Hi there,

there seems to have been a achievement issue yesterday so that might be the cause of it not showing.

Usually this will correct itself in the next few days, so for now it's best to give it a couple of days and check if all is correct by then.

As mentioned by WPAK there was an issue with the achievements, however you could try clearing local saved games and relaunching the game, that way you will force the system to fetch and redownload your save file and that way it might detect the achievement.
it worked for me in ROTR.

That link didn't help at all. It's telling me stuff I already know and did. I always made sure I was online before I even started the game and everything was synced.

 

You may want to try deleting and redownloading your profile, I have seen achievement sync issues in the past corrected by taking this step.

 

I already did that. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

 

Have you done the other steps such as doing a hard restart (then waiting up to 72 for everything to sync)?

The only thing i can think of that hasn't already been suggested is to meet the requirements for the achievement a second time.

 

Yeah. I did and it didn't fix the problem either.

 

I know it isn't a good answer but I have had a similar situation in the past - I had to replay the game to unlock it.

 

Well that is weird but life keeps going just keep playing other games besides achievements dont give you anything at all

 

Have you tried to redownload your profile? That might solve the achievement issue. Or it could be a temporary thing one some player's side.
