Achievements reset on X360?

Not sure what happened here, but when i went to load in the back up i keep on a flash drive(a friend had his xbox's HD fry and lost all his stuff and i wasn't about to let that happen), it deleted all the achievements again? Not sure what the deal is, left
for the week, got home this weekend and noted my GS on my XbOne said i only had 12k, thought that was weird and fired up my X360 and found all my achievements gone, this wouldn't be so upsetting but I had around 60-70k achievements, had 100%'d all the Call
of Duties, along with a handful of other games.

Added note, i popped in CoD2 to see if I could get the achievements back, and after completing a mission on veteran i didn't receive the achievement?

Do you ever wish you could choose to reset your GS for individual games to get achievements again?

You can't cheat if it resets your achievements and gamerscore for that game and reduces your overall gamerscore by the same amount.

Say you have 50k GS. You reset the achievements and GS for ME2 which you had 1150GS in. Now you have 0 GS and achievements in ME2 and your overall GS is 48,850.

 

Gamescore 0

They can reset 360 achievements anywhere if they are modded.

Once you receive a Gamerscore reset you can't re earn any reset achievements again on that profile.

Achievements on xbox one games work differently & can't be modded.

 

Looking at your games it's safe to say you've had a Gamerscore reset for modded achievements.

You will not be able to re earn any reset achievements on that account.

You can't mod xbox one game achievements which is why only your 360 games achievements were reset.

Just looking at GTA V you have online only achievements with no time/date stamp which can only be done by modding.

 

that's strange, have no idea why it would say that. Never really played GTA5 Online, probably like an hour. Never understood why anyone would modify their GS either, like yeah having a big number would be neat i guess, but if you didn't actually earn it
then whats the point?

Is there a way to contact support and get that reversed? I mean I'm not amused by the idea of having to go back and re-beat all the CoD's again to 100% them, nor searching for all the feathers and such in AC, but if need be I could.

 

Gamerscore resets are final & can not be reversed.Support are nothing to do with xbox live enforcement anyway.

You also have modded achievements on Halo 3 so it wasn't just one game.

Nope can't say that is possible, I 100%'d Halo 3, know this factually because me and 3 friends went through and did it together, even the multiplayer achievements.

 

and the reason i remember that clearly is because it was our last gaming hoorah before one of us got deployed to Iraq

There's nothing else to discuss.You wont get that Gamerscore back unless you start a new account & earn the achievements legit.

Just looking to obtain clarification with the above..

If modded achievements were reset, is there anyway of earning these reset achievements the legit way on the same account? Even if the timescale was under a decade ago with these achievements reset?

I hate to admit it but this did happen with my account, once resets are done, no matter how long ago, that's final?

No. Gamerscore resets are permanent. You will not be able to re-earn any of the achievements that were reset on that account. The only way to re-earn them is by creating a new account.
