    Achievements Panel in the Guide Drawer is Broken


    I'm curious as to how long the achievement panel in the guide drawer, under game activity, is going to remain unloved and unfixed? Curious as to how the current layout is even remotely useful...each option simply relists the cheevos in a different order. Time was you could see which cheevos you'd won, which ones were close and which ones were not yet attained.

    As it is now I can't glean any information from that panel and it's been this way for more than a year. Is this going to be fixed? Speaking of broken, when using the chat keyboard attached to the controller, the bumpers can't be used to move the cursor around when filing bug reports in the Report a Problem app.

    are you sure you dont have another controller in a drawer that has the guide button pressed down?

    Currently is not possible to deactivate the notification number on the notification section of the guide, you won't get the pop up notification for the achievement but it will be on the notification panel

    Hi, Meyling. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

    Please do the steps below in sequence to do a factory reset and let me know if it works:

    - Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

    - Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    - Wait 30 seconds.

    - Plug the power cord back in.

    - Press and hold the BIND button (the one you use to sync controllers) and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    - Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.

    Note: If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

    - You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    - The console should start and show the Troubleshooting screen

    - Choose "reset this Xbox" and there you have the option to Keep Games and Apps (already downloaded) or to Remove Everything

    Breaking peripherals since 1992

    I've never broken any of my gaming peripherals out of rage...or any of my 360 stuff for that matter.

    However, many years ago, I accidentally broke my Sega Dreamcast. It was in my drawer, and the disc hatch had opened up unexpectedly. When I next opened the drawer, it caught and ripped back.

    And there was that one time where my old rabbit chewed my N64 cables to shreds. She was lucky she didn't get a little buzz.
