Achievements Not Unlocking

I posted initially back on Feb 26, 2016 about some achievements not unlocking in Far Cry 4. My initial post can be found here :

It has been two months since this post, and these achievements have still not finally unlocked. They are listed now as 'Done, unlocking...' and they have been for well over a month.

I looked into and tried the solutions listed by Xbox Support listed here http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_support/xbox_one_support/f/4270/t/1958241.aspx , and nothing has helped. Yes, I am connected to live. Yes, I power cycled. Yes, I removed/redownloaded my profile.
Yes, I have waited well over 72 hours.

Please provide a fix.

Achievement Counters Not Working

I just started having issues with achievements not unlocking. Should have gotten the silver daily challenge achievement, but the counter remained at 9 / 10.

Also having issues with Mahjong achievements not unlocking.

I've been playing offline and still unlocking achievements.

The only difference between unlocking achievements offline and online is that achievements unlocked when offline are not date stamped.

 

You may have to contact Microsoft directly

 

I have the same problem i have tryed all of these my progress on achievements wont move or unlock tryed support ther needs to be some sort of patch for this

 

I believe that at this time, all you can do is follow the steps listed in your second link, and then fill out the survey at the bottom of that post. I know it's not what you want to hear, but that's all you can do for now.

 

I have this same problem with "Rise of the Tomb Raider," where 3 achievements have been Done! Unlocking... for nearly a month. I waited (almost double) the recommended 72 hours before contacting the practical joke that is Xbox Support, and ran through the
power cycle & removed and restored the profile and nothing happened. I was told that since Microsoft doesn't support "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and to contact the publisher directly. Seeing as I've had more issues with Square Enix "Support" than Xbox "Support"I
had low expectations. Eventually, they replied that they don't support the Xbox versions of their game, Microsoft does.

So, my 1st question is: which organization is lying to me?

My 2nd question is: what is the benefit of the achievements connected to a server over the way they used to pop on the 360?

 

I have had achievements pop up like 8 months after i actually unlocked them, you just need to wait.

I was having the same issues as you have all stated above. What fixed it for me was "Factory Resetting" the console (keep the games and apps) then downloading the profile and attempting the achievement(s) one more time. Hope this helps you guys out.

I'd rather not replay the game to get some of the achievements again. One of the ones that I already unlocked was somewhat story related, and would take hours if I had to start over.

It says "Done...Unlocking" but I guess there's not really anything I can do other than wait.

I think MS should be actively working on a fix.

 

Someone mentioned contacting MS directly on this. Does that help them to fix the issue? If so, does anyone know how someone should reach out to them for it?

 

As of right now factory resetting your console and completing the achievement again is your only option. I called Microsoft constantly while I was dealing with this problem and all they did was make me fill out a survey.

 

Just wanted to post an update on this.

I did the survey thing about a week ago, as someone on this thread suggesting that. I got a notification from TrueAchievements today that i had a new completion, and it looks like the game has finally had the achievements caught up.

I'm not sure if the survey was useful in getting someone to look at it personally, or if this was just when they finally registered as unlocked as a coincidence ... but the issue is finally resolved for me.
