Achievements not unlocking

Multiple achievments on several games aren't unlocking. I've done a hard reset and nothing. The only time my xbox registered my achievements as when Destiny crashed. And I'm missing the Epic Raider from Destiny, and 3 from Fallout 4.

Achievement Counters Not Working

I just started having issues with achievements not unlocking. Should have gotten the silver daily challenge achievement, but the counter remained at 9 / 10.

Also having issues with Mahjong achievements not unlocking.

I've been playing offline and still unlocking achievements.

The only difference between unlocking achievements offline and online is that achievements unlocked when offline are not date stamped.

The Xbox One stores achievements on the server side instead of locally, whereas the Xbox 360 stored them locally so you will need to be online to get your achievements. Achievements will unlock after you connect with Microsoft servers via the internet, as
long as the console saves the data and communicates it. So if you lose your internet connection and keep playing, you need to make sure you connect to the internet again at some point before the Xbox is turned off.

Sometimes the system is backing up and talking to the server, it may look like the achievements are not unlocking, but that’s only because the server and Xbox One are talking. It’ll unlock once the information gets sent to your console. It could take a few
hours, depending on server demand.

Another possibility is that the achievement is unlocked but you do not see it on the game screen. Go to the achievement app and see if it shows as unlocked there.

You also can try clearing the system cache if it still does not show the achievement after a few days. If you clear the cache you’ll only need to wait an hour or two to see the achievement, assuming the problem was the cache. To clear the cache follow these
steps:

1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

3. Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

4. Plug the power cable back into the console.

5. Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

6. Turn on the console using the power button.
