Achievements not unlocking - Windows 10

I know, I know - make sure "Connected User Experiences and Telemetry" service is working...only that's not the problem as
I've tried that solution. It's running. Stopping and restarting it doesn't help either.

Achievements have never worked on PC for me. I'm using PC Game Pass to download and play them.

I'm in Windows 10, version 1903 (Build 18362.476) - updated now to 1909 and still no Achievements

Also I should note that if I play a PC game it doesn't show up on my 'recently played' list on Xbox.

Try uninstall the game and then restart your PC. After this reinstall the game.

Try updating Windows to the most current version to see if that helps. Current version is 1909
