Achievements Not unlocking on Xbox 360

Last night while playing COD Ghost I got few achievements with in the game.. Today I connected to smart-glass and noticed they wasn't unlocked on there. Went over the Xbox Site and they was not unlocked on there either. But when go to my Xbox dashboard
and look in the achievements list they are unlocked.

Not thinking about it i just deleted the profile off my HDD and re-downloaded it, thinking this would fix it. But it made it worse...Now my achievements that I got unlock last night are no longer unlocked and can't be unlocked again.. I have already tested
them to see if i could unlock again. I did noticed that i was having a log in error last night while playing CoD:Ghost. Could this be cause of the achievements not registering the first time and now i can't get them again? Error I had was telling me to log
in when I was already logged in to Xbox live...

Backward compatibility problem

Hey, BlHimmel! We are aware of a situation where some achievements do not unlock on the Xbox One console. This shows up as either Xbox One achievements not unlocking, Xbox 360 achievements not unlocking, or both not unlocking.

We are working on resolving this right now, however the current workaround is to do a

factory reset on your console. Give that a shot following the steps there; you can keep your games and apps. After that, try to earn an easy achievement for an Xbox 360 game, and let us know how it goes!

Hey there N0M8D,

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your achievements. Something that I've heard work for people in the past with this issue is to earn the achievements while offline and then when you reconnect to Xbox LIVE they should update properly.

If that doesn't work for you, you may want to try rolling back your update:

Head into Settings -> System -> Storage

Then hover over the storage device that has the update on it and press LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X

Read and agree to the notification

After this is done, your console will restart. You can then sign back in to Live or run the connection test to prompt for the update again. Please keep me updated on how things go and maybe we can find a solution for this in the end.

I look already on TA and that say i have not unlock achievements on my old 360 games, on xbox i cant delete games are on 0% in my achievement and i cant re unlock achievements on games i do achievements before, i can only unlock achievements on 360 games
i never play before

Hi byNeizo,

At any point in time did you unlock these achievements while offline on the Xbox 360?

Achievements are synced over Xbox Live so if you unlocked achievements on the old Xbox 360 while offline, then your progress will not be reflected if you get a new console or on True Achievement website.

360 achievements unlock on the console whether you have a live connection or not. Check your achievements and see if they have unlock dates. That will show whether the xbox servers are recognizing the unlock or not.

I have the exact same issue. I can't unlock any achievements on Xbox One games. However I can unlock achievements on Xbox 360 backwards compatible games.

Hello! Of course! unlocked achievements are linked to your account, it does not matter if you unlock it on xbox one, xbox 360 or windows
