Achievements Not Unlocking Glitch

(All of the following is on the Xbox One)

This basically began back in August. I met the requirements for a certain achievement in Crimson Dragon, and it did not unlock. I was frustrated, however another achievement that I had not met the requirements for had unlocked instead, and had the same amount
of gamerscore as my intended achievement. Due to this, I disregarded the issue as my total gamerscore count was as it should have been anyways, and it didn't bother me a huge deal.

Now it's December and I'm playing The Walking Dead: Season 1. The majority of achievements in this game are storyline related, thus, are unmissable. There is an achievement for completing each chapter, and I surpassed a chapter without getting the achievement.
Upon checking my achievement list, it says I've completed it to 100% and it is "Done! Unlocking..." but it just stays like that. I've gotten more achievements after it for completing the following chapters and it still hasn't unlocked or given me the gamerscore.
(Due to OCD, this is quite the bother.)

A few chapters on, I completed a chapter and the notification did not pop up saying I got the achievement. This time around, the achievement has unlocked, but it hasn't given me the gamerscore for it, nor does the Xbox have any recollection of unlocking
it - as it isn't in my list of notifications and what not.

I've read lots of posts online stating that this issue normally resolves itself within a few days time, and this issue only occurred a couple of hours before me posting this up. However, due to what happened with Crimson Dragon to me back in August, I'm
afraid of the achievement not unlocking, as well as the gamerscore not being awarded to me. I contacted the Microsoft Support chat, who advised me to post in the forums, and here I am. So a hopeful resolution would be appreciated, thanks

Hey! Sorry you're having so many issues with Achievements!

First off, are you connected to Xbox Live when you unlock the achievements? For achievements to be unlocked on the Xbox One, you have to have an active Xbox Live connection.

Also, have you checked your profile around 24 hours after the initial error to see if the achievement was still locked? I'm looking at your profile on the Xbox website, and it's showing quite a few Walking Dead (nice game choice btw ;p) achievements that
have been unlocked in the past day.

According to
this support article, achievements can occasionally be delayed.

"In some instances, you may meet the requirements to unlock an achievement but not immediately receive a notice or update to your gamerscore. The Xbox Live service validates the unlocking of achievements and, though rare, delays can occur. Don’t worry –
your progress has been recorded and the achievement will be awarded shortly, usually in less than 24 hours."

If your achievements aren't unlocking at the time but do show themselves as unlocked later, that may be why.

Hope one of these explanations helps get to the bottom of what's going on here!

 

I was lead here by a customer service rep. I don't know what I am supposed to say but I have achievements in Halo: MCC that have been sitting at Done! Unlocked for weeks now(since 11/15/14 and it is now 12/4/14). Really want this fixed because it is annoying
knowing you are supposed to have something and not getting it. Especially now that there is Xbox Rewards that rewards you for gamerscore.

 

It did end up unlocking itself, so I'm glad for that. The only reason I was concerned was due to my previous bad luck with achievements that wouldn't unlock, but perhaps next time I'll keep my patience, hahahah. Thanks Skunkboy. Also, I hope your issue gets
resolved too Diablosbomb, because that really is unfortunate.

 

Hello I'm also playing The Walking Dead season 1 and not unlocking any of the achievements. I'm currently on episode 2, all the achievements from the entire 1 episode has not been unlocked. I completed the first episode last night, it's not the morning and
the achievements still hasn't been awarded. Like
