Achievements not unlocking for Backwards Compatibility Games

For Borderlands, Gears of War 2, and now Saints Row IV, no achievements are unlocking. I have beaten Gears of War 2, achievements stopped unlocking after Chapter 2.

Progression achievements, such as Kill 100,000 enemies, are reset to 0 each time I log in.

Not Earning Achievements

When using backwards compatibility games I'm not earning any achievements for the games, despite meeting the requirements.

 

Backward compatibility problem

Hi! I have some problem with backward compatibility. My achievement from Xbox 360 are not displayed on Xbox one ( when I play game for Xbox360 on Xbox one.)I get achievement while I playing with backward compatibility,but they not displayed on my 'G score'.
It's spoil all my joy about games. Please fix it

Can you verify that when you start your backwards compatible games, are you signed into the Xbox 360 emulator? Just because you are signed in on the One, does not guarantee the Xbox 360 emulation will automatically sign you in. You can check by bringing
up the Guide (press the Menu and View buttons at the same time). If it says Connect to Xbox Live, select that to bring your account online.

Confirmed that I am signed in to Xbox Live, my profile is signed in and online for the 260 emulator.

 

Alright. Can you try to re-download your profile to the Xbox 360 emulator? Again, press the Menu and View buttons at the same time and scroll down to Download Profile.

 

Done, as well as clearing my profile from the X1 completely. No change.

 

Have you tried a full power cycle of your console?

 

Are there any other troubleshooting techniques you've already tried prior to coming here? That way I don't duplicate steps you've already taken.

 

That's all- power cycled, removed and reinstated profile, ensured connection to Xbox Live, ensured I'm signed in, Microsoft reset my account, and verified achievements are not already unlocked.

 

I would suggest a Factory Reset, but with the Keep my Games and Apps option. You can find that option under Settings>All Settings>System>Console Info & Updates.

 

Factory reset is done, now I cannot sign in to Xbox Live from the 360 emulator. I am online with the Xbox 1, playing multiplayer and watching netflix, connection test shows that everything is working.

When I open 360 games, my gamertag pops up as signed in, but not connected to Live.

 

And when you select Connect to Xbox Live, what error code do you receive?

 

No error messages, the connection was fine, I just couldn't sign it.

I contacted Microsoft Support again, they reset my account again, and it's working now. Woo!

Thank you, very much, for your assistance. I'll be referencing this a lot, as I found in other forums with people having similar trouble and no solutions.

If I can trouble you for one more thing-- am I just SOL for the storyline progression trophies that I should have gotten, but didn't?

For example, I've now beaten Gears of War 2, but only have about half of the story achievements.

 

Unfortunately at this point, you may have to go through and beat the requirements again for it to register.
