    Achievements Not Showing Notification


    I was playing Halo 5 on Xbox One and I realized that I have not gotten an achievement for a while. I then checked with the snap feature and it said I have unlocked 5 achievements. I looked this up and saw I could do a hard reset and it should fix it. I did
    it and it seems like it worked because I saw that I got an achievement with the notification. All of the achievements are on my profile and I can see I got them but for what ever reason the notification didn't pop up. Hopefully I fixed it with the hard reset
    but is anyone else having this problem in 2015 rather than 2013. It's not a huge problem but I just want to know the problem.

    Achievements notifications not showing

    I'm having the same problem right now. Earned 4 achievements today while playing online and never saw the notification ;(

    If you are not online, they will not show up. When you connect online, they will all pop.

    Hey mate,

    That is a strange one indeed, and not something I've heard of recently. There is an option to turn off the notifications, but you'd actually have to go into your settings and do it yourself. So it could just be a bit of a bug with the game that caused them
    not to pop up, and the hard reset would have fixed that right up. If it does keep happening though, make sure to let us know Achievements Not Showing Notification :)

    Thanks man, yeah I think is just a bug with the game or something. Is the achievements powered by the game it's self or are they powered by the Xbox. I mean if one game has a bug where the achievements aren't showing up does all achievements with different
    games do this or is it just the one.

    Its a little bit of both, the game speaks to the xbox which triggers the achievements. Obviously its a lot more detailed then that, but thats the general idea Achievements Not Showing Notification :p I imagine it would only be with that game personally, but wouldn't be 100% sure without being
    able to test it out

    Notifications, as mentioned above will cause the achievements not to show up.

    -

    Also, if you have your online status set to "busy", it will temporarily disable notifications, and achievements won't show.

    Hey there, The Fury I84I! I'm sorry to see that your achievements didn't pop for you. I checked your profile and didn't see any earned yesterday, either. Since this thread is a bit old, I'd like you to wait a full 48 hours before posting up your own thread.

    I'm always connected to Xbox Live - some of the achievements have been related to online multiplayer. I have unlocked them, just the notifications themselves are not showing.
