Discus and support Achievements NOT POPPING but my Gamerscore does in fact increase... in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So is that a slight problem with the servers?     Achievements NOT POPPING but my Gamerscore does in fact increase...


    So is that a slight problem with the servers? There's a delay in my gamerscore increasing or I have to sign out then sign back in for my score to go up.

    if I earn achievements playing 360 games on Xbox one console does it increase the gamerscore on Xbox Live Rewards?

    Ideas to Make Achievements Important Again!

    I have been recently thinking that Xbox achievements seem to be only good for increasing your "Gamerscore". Although a high gamerscore does in fact reflect your time spent gaming and can be seen as an accolade...but thats it. I am not bashing the idea of achievements and gamerscore but I would like for them to expand on the excitement of gaining achievements. I remember back in the day when Halo 3 was still relevant that in order to gain the "flaming helmet" you needed to achieve the Vid-Master Achievements. They were considerably hard achievements indeed,but, were people trying to obtain this accolade just for gamerscore, no, they wanted to rewarded for their efforts with in-game customization and items. That is the step i feel Microsoft and game developers need to make in order to make Achievements more about prestige and dare i say "bragging rights". Maybe it is my nostalgia kicking in but i miss the days where my friends and I would spend hours trying to "achievement hunt".
    Ideas on making them relevant:
    • After every 5,000 Gamerscore you gain a new Gamerpic.
    • Mircosoft can add "titles" next to playercards when you inspect a gamertag. (etc., Achievement Hunter, or Head Hunter, or something to that effect)
    • Developers can add in-game items or collectibles if you unlock a certain achievement or a certain amount of achievements.
    These are some of my ideas but I would love to hear all of your thoughts and ideas!

    Gamerscore Not Increasing

    Seeing that there's no useful help whatsoever on this forum for this, I did some googling and found a temporary solution.

    The problem is (as always) with the Xbox One server. I don't know what caused this, but the points are definitely stuck, somewhere. To resolve this, go to your Xbox 360, play a game, and unlock an achievement there. Any achievement will do.

    Unlocking an achievement on your Xbox 360 seems to force all those "stuck" points out, and your score will now be "correct" on all your devices.

    Just bear in mind though that the next time you unlock an achievement on the Xbox One, the issue may resurface. This is why I call this a "temporary" solution.

    Gamerscore Not Increasing

    This just started happening to me yesterday, unfortunately I cant remember the exact number my gamer score should be. While playing RE hd remake I unlocked an achievement and my score increased to approximately 72910 after I played need for speed rivals
    and unlocked 2 30g achievements my score went back down to 72800 and change, and has been building back up from the 800's since then. Seems like many people are experiencing this issue and will probably resolve itself in time.

    Yes they have been added to my Gamerscore, increased my completion percentage of the game, the achievements show they are unlocked, ive gone in settings as well and made sure captures and achievements are both checked to upload automatically. It just does
    not show on my feed as a new post when it should automatically

    When gamerscore is reset, the achievements 'earned' the first time round cannot be re-earned to increase gamerscore. You would need to unlock new achievements.

    Every game have 50 achievements that gain you 1000 gamerscore in total.

    Playing games make you unlock achievements and so you increase your gamerscore.
