Achievements NEED to be fixed

Achievements are locked when you play offline.. They only unlock when you go online.. FIX IT NOW!!! I demand it

Also you cannot access all multiplayer features as it is a trial not full gold

What feature are you trying to use

If you are trying to access apps those wont work with 48hour trials

48hour trials functions vary per game

More advance features like cod threater probably doesnt work

You can demand it all you want, but if that's how the achievement system is supposed to be, then that's how its supposed to be.

Besides, is it really that bad that you have to connect to the net to get your precious little achievements? I mean both the Xbox One and PS4 are pretty much tied into the internet in some way or another, if you don't like that, then may I suggest gaming
on the previous generation of consoles or perhaps the Wii U?

It isn't broken, it's working as designed. We've been told that we can meet achievement requirements offline, but the onlock will only occur when we go online.

There isn't anything to fix here.

 

Achievements do need to be fixed, but... this is definitely not what is wrong with them. I'm getting tired of doing everything that needs to be done to unlock them, but they won't unlock... and then 12 hours later, they randomly do. I guess it's better
than having them glitched and never unlock, but it's just annoying.

 

^ That. I sometimes get achievements and think.. eh? All I did was walk around, then I find that its a locked achievement.

Halo seems to be the worst for it so far but I think that's a mix between the game itself and the achievement system.

 

Getting "Destiny"'s achievements to unlock can sometimes be as long winded and convoluted as upgrading your Exotic.

 

@Azrael - I find sacrificing a chicken every time I play Destiny helps....while standing on one leg and singing Snap's "I got the power".

 

I'd been doing that myself and found it wasn't unlocking because I was singing the pre-expansion Chill Rob G version of "I've Got The Power".

Now that you've set me straight I'll siing Snap's version of "I've Got The Power" to Xur this Friday, then he'll then give me the sub quest to find 25 positive Kinect posts in XBox General Discussion and once that's complete I can then melee 15 Silvers talking
smack about the Xbox ONE and finally move on to trying to achieve a triple gold starring a Public Complaint.

 

Is this system in place I wonder to prevent gamerscore modding?
