Achievements lost when logging in to Xbox Live

    Achievements lost when logging in to Xbox Live


    So I had an Xbox 360 that could not connect to Xbox Live, but I played on it anyways for a few years. I collected some 10 620 gamerscore on my profile.

    Then I recently bought a new Xbox 360 so that I could connect online, transfered my profile to the console and tried to login to Xbox live. After recovering the email and password with the help of Microsoft support i could login.

    But when i logged in it changed my Gamerscore down to 4465! The local profile that I used to login had 10620 before i logged in and then suddenly 4465, why and how? How do I recover the achievements that I had on my local console before I logged in?

    Just logged out of my live and retried Netflix says I need to log into Xbox live ? Do you all have home option selected on one Xbox or something

    I have a password logging on my live account but that should not matter

    And yes Netflix asks to sign into live when I try to use it. I have tried to remove Netflix signed out of live and tried to reinstall it but again asks to sing into live

    Achievement progress not being registered

    Hi, sometimes while runnning Destiny, logging out of xbox live and logging back in again can unlock the achievements, it's worked for me, so it may work for you.

    Achievements lost when logging in to Xbox Live

    When you recover your account, the system pulls the last information the servers have for your account from the last time you were signed in. So if you recovered your account before you were able to sign into Live and notify the system of the new achievements,
    the system pulled the last bit of information it had which would not include those offline achievements. You would have to re-earn the acheivements.

    Do you mean "achievements"?

    And were you logged in to Xbox Live when you accomplished them? Sometimes that affects how the achievements are displayed.

    Sorry to hear your situation can always be frustrating, let's see if I can help explain. More than likely your save was not logged into Xbox live due to game play offline; in that case on your initial system which the achievement was unlocked on will not
    register after playing on another system with live. When playing on live the save on live has the final save with the logged game play. So when the initial system final does connect to Xbox live the other save from live replaces the achievement saves. Because
    the initial system might've being on live for a month it register them save's as legit saves, when the second Xbox on live is signed into it reads that save and save's an other achievements you unlocked at that Xbox connection. However now when the initial
    system get's back on live (for whatever the reason it was offline) Xbox live write's the achievement information over the initially Xbox because live is saying their information is the correct version because that was the last information updated on to live.
    So when the initial system updates on Xbox live, it's using the save which was logged into second Xbox which was connected to Xbox live.

    Frustrating as this may be please remember this is the one of the reasons the push towards an on-line system is becoming favorable, because a sky-drive with an Xbox always on line will prevent data corruption of this sort. Wish I could help you retrieve
    the lost Achievements, however more than likely it was written over; I do hope you play it again because I believe we love the games we play and more than like we secretly play them more once. Thanks for your question I hope I was helpful answering any area's

    Have been able to log in, too. No achievement is lost, everything is working fine.

    Maybe he earned the remaining achievements offline so when he logs onto xbox live tomorrow it will update to 100k.
