Achievements in different language

Just download Valiant Hearts on my X1. An achievement popped so I went to check it out. Once the achievement app had popped I noticed all the achievements for Valiant Hearts were not in English! It looks as if it could be Dutch??? Any ideas what this is
about? Or how to fix??

There might be two different versions (Japanese and English) make sure you are downloanding the correct one.

I would recommend deleting and re downloading your profile as a last resort for this one, beyond that I would recommend reaching out to support for further assistance!

 

Not currently sorry. But it seems to be an issue thats been brought up about a few games on x1 in these forums. Console is set to english so I really dont know whats going on!

 

So it is in Dutch or is it in english but with funny squigggles on the letters?

 

No they are in Dutch. Achievements unlock in english but as soon as you go to the app they are in dutch.

 

Are you in the update preview program & got the new update?

 

I have the same issue. I was on the phone to xbox support last night and they tried everything with me and nothing changed so they went off to find out about it and rung me back today and they still have no idea about it as its a new problem to them. At
least they know about it though!

I noticed it first when i went to play titanfall after their new update and the new cheevs popped in English, went to check it and they were in French. Brought valiant hearts yesterday checked the cheevs straight away and they are all in French. Even the
title is French on the cheev tab.

So I have titanfall, valiant hearts and every new game this week in french on my console and when i check on smartglass they are in German.

 

No im not in the program daft badger. Well im glad someone else has experienced the issue. Its just VH for me at the moment. Been chatting withbthe support team on twitter and come up with nothing. It has to be a bug in the OS?

 

I told support I'd wait for the new update to see if anything changes after that. I've just checked the achievements on this 'ere website, now the xbox one ones are showing and they're all in English. No one seems to know what's going on. :/

 

Having the same problem here myself.

Titanfall achievments are showing up in German. Think it was just after the Titanfall update. The pop up box (when achievements unlock) still shows the achievement in English though.

Language and region is English/UK. My account is UK. No idea what is going on. All other games are showing up in English.

I did change the language as a test and when you select any other language, the achievements including Titanfall will change accordingly. It only doesn't work for English were Titanfall reverts to German!!! Crazy stuff!!!

Hope the new July update will fix this but if not then this will be annoying!!!

Well I just got the July update and my achievements are still showing in French for Titanfall, valiant hearts and some others. :/

Looks like another call to support.

 

No idea what to do about this as support are no help.

 

I have this problem with Titanfall. All achievements used to be in English and switched overnight to French. All my other achievements are unaffected. I wonder if it is because this is the only DIGITAL game I have bought; all the others are disc-based? Either
way, it is an annoyance and I hope MS sort this out. There isn't any reason achievements shouldn't follow the consoles language; it's not like it's contravening any licensing laws!
