Achievements in different language than console language

Discus and support Achievements in different language than console language in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I live in Flanders, Belgium where we speak Dutch.     I live in Flanders, Belgium where we speak Dutch.

    Although the achievements are set in French and there seems no way to change that.

    My console language is English and I'd like my achievements to be in English too.

    Having the same problem here, i just got transformers rise of the dark spark and my achievements are in Spanish while killer instinct, Call of duty Ghosts, Forza, Halo, and Max the curse of brotherhood are in English

    Mister quimby i don't think this is IP related since all my achievements i've been unlocking them in Mexico and they're still in English my only problem is with transformers so far, Also a friend of mine is having the same problem but in his case its Titanfall
    achievements that appear in spanish.

    Also i already tried re-downloading my profile and it did not fix it that being said where the language changes is on the achievements list where you can see the description of it i am saying this because when i unlocked the snitches get stiches achievement
    is shows it on English but when you go and read the description its in Spanish

    when it pops up on the screen it shows Snitches get stiches and when i was trying to read the description it showed this Los chivatos la pagan

    Please Microsoft fix this

    achievements in a different language than the console

    The achievements will pop in the language where your IP locates you as. If you were to VPN back to the UK then they'd show in English again.

    You should be able to view your achievements in English using the likes of SmartGlass app on your phone.

    I posted on the other thread about having the same problem.

    Could it be to do with the whole new language support coming in July system update that's throwing a problem?

    Just seems strange that everything was working fine then all of a sudden the language changes on our achievements. I find this really annoying.

    Can we find a fix to this please?!!! Why can't we just have achievements in the language we want?!

    I am in Norway with a Imported console (from Germany) and some of the games have suddenly changed achievement language to German. It was not like that before. Titanfall and Wolfenstein for example have all the achievements in german. Not the dashboard, not
    in the "in game menu", ONLY the achievements are in German. They were in English first, and then it swapped to german. Everything in my console settings is set to English/Uk, I am connected to the UK Marketplace with my credit card and I don't have a German
    IP. WTF Microsoft?

    Hey there egoOWEN!

    That does seem like a weird issue. The issue may be caused by your physical location not matching the console location. It is recommended that your account and console location match where you physically are to prevent issues in the future.

    I have the same problem. I'm American, stationed in Spain. All of my achievements are showing up in Spanish. I'm not happy about this. It's a real bummer to get an achievement and not know what it was for. I've noticed a few other areas where it does this
    as well.
