Achievements for Xbox one Minecraft from the 360 version?

Hi everyone,

I've just recently upgraded to the Xbox one, and I was just wondering if the achievements from the 360 version of Minecraft transfers to the one. Do they show up as two separate games, so I would have to redo the achievements that I got for the 360 version
for the xbox one?

I hope that makes any sense, I think I already have the answer but just making sure. I don't want to have to start all over again and have two Minecraft games on my gamerscore.

Minecraft Xbox One

hi

my son has been playing minecraft, saint row, far cry 4 etc in Xbox 360. is it possible to transfer the games to xbox one? minecraft is an online purchase. rest all the discs we bought from Game.

he doesnt want to upgrade to xbox one but ofcourse we are missing out the new features of xbox one and xbox 360 is getting out dated fast and would value for nothing soon.. ihave few consoles left like that and lying in the garage.. (ps2, xbox, psp etc)..

any advice on transferring the games would be helpful for me to decide on xbox one..

I cannot redownload minecraft on xbox 360

I used to own Minecraft xbox 360 edition for my xbox from downloading from xbox live. I recentlu redownloaded my account and have been unable to redownload minecraft after my purchase. I am sure I had it on this account because this account has many achievements
for minecraft. It does not show up in my purchasing history.

 

Minecraft for the 360 and for the One are two separate games. As such you would need to re-earn the achievements on the One version.

 

Some of them might unlock as I think some of them did for me but I don't remember for sure as it has been a long time.

On second thought I think it was the 360 version that automatically unlocked some achievements when a second account signed in.

 

If I remember correctly the achievements don't transfer as they have slightly different achievement lists, means your achievements won't transfer but you'll be able to get more Gamerscore! Hope that helps
