Achievements down...again

Another week, another problem with xbox live. Now progress on Achievements aren't even registering on the Xbox as of now. So does that mean everything that I have completed is just not going to unlock since I completed it in the game, that with some of
these games I will have to start over just to unlock the achievement. I have switched to several different games and completed the requirement for the achievement, i.e. assassin's creed, halo mcc, and battlefield. Nothing unlocked, and no progress on games
that show progress with the blue bar. I don't understand why it seems to be weekly issues for xbox live, and they aren't new issues, it's the same issues over and over again.

I played Metro again last night, and they still didn't pop. Thanks for the help and I will let you know when I see them go through

M4RV 71 qoute: I find it amazing that the last time I looked this was a support forum but there are no MS support people here replying to threads.

There was a major issue about a month back with the achievements not working because there were problems with live. And yet they have still not implemented a fix to this new achievement system when it goes down.

They really should have stuck with the xbox 360 way of achievements and not this new xbox one way of only being able to unlock them when you are online and there are no problems with live

: you can blame the idiots on the 360 that cheated to unlock achievements by using imported saves. if you got a save file from a game with all the achievements unlocked and imported to your 360 and loaded the save file, then all the achievements
would unlock for you. that's why we have this new way for unlocking achievements. this is suppose to prevent that.

 

Futhermore, it gives me an error code to report to "help" them research it. Every time I have tried to "help" the error code doesn't exist when I type it in. Everything is ALWAYS broken...

 

Achievements are working fine for me. I unlocked a few last night playing AC Unity. But I know what you mean I just recently had a few achievements from the master chief collection unlock after a few months of waiting but didn't have any errors codes though..

 

Yep, i have unlocked achievements as normal.

Give your console a reboot, re-download your profile etc, all the usual maintenance tricks.
