Achievements don't work offline

I play games to unlock achievements. I wish that you could get achievements offline on xbox one like you can on 360. I never want to play games when social and gaming is having problems because achievements don't unlock.

Achievements Don't Work

I have put a lot of time into this game, and it occurred to me that I have yet to have seen an achievement notification pop up. Sure enough when I checked the Xbox app it showed I had the game and how long I've played, but I do not have a single achievement.

I play on Windows 10.

You can unlock achievements when offline on the xbox one.

You wont get a notification & it wont be added to your Gamerscore until you connect to live again as Gamerscore/achievements are linked to the Cloud now to prevent modding.

Can't say I've ever had an issue unlocking achievements when there is an issue with social/gaming myself,sometimes a delay but they've always unlocked.

And I have 7 achievements that I won offline the don't count to my gamer score! And those achievements I won above I also won those offline! HELP

Hello. I unlocked some achievements on my Xbox one in game.

When I wasn't connected to the internet. They don't seem to be updating in my games list. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I connected my Xbox one to the internet in hopes it would update, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any help
would be greatly appreciated! I bought console Xbox One so I could record and keep track of my achievements, so it would be nice if it worked the way it should!

I don't think you can unlock achievements offline on the xbox one. The console was designed from the very beginning to be used online exclusively. Offline features were only added after the initial U-turn caused by the uproar when xbox one was first announced.
I don't think they fixed achievements so they can be unlocked offline though

Hey, thanks for asking this question. You saved me the trouble of looking it up as I was unsure how playing Skyrim offline would affect my achievements.

Looking at your account it does show that no achievements were ever earned on GTA V. Achievements earned while a gamertag is offline don't usually transfer to an online account. If the account was only temporarily offline then give it some time. Perhaps
the achievements will be added within a week or so.
