Achievements doesn't pop up

i can't even find a solution for achievement that doesn't pop up on screen. i'm not a preview insider and i reset my console and re-download my profile. achievements are unlocking, but the notification is not coming up..

my console is set for save energy and all the notification are active, i recevie for chat, friends online ecc. but the achievements doen't pop up even if i play split with achievements app.

Please Help! Xbox One records game play randomly

It doesn't pop up twice. Its the same notification pop-up, the text switches from Game clip recorded to what ever the achievement title was.

 

No more achievement pop up notifications since update?

Power cycling the xbox worked. The achievement pop up doesn't display instantly like it used to but it does pop up within a minute. Thanks.

 

I have had this problem for the past 6 days. I have done a bit more testing. Logged into my sons account and got a quick cheevo on Minecraft - all popped OK so I know its not to do with the Xbox Preview build. Logged into mine and got an easy cheevo on
Machinima which didn't notify. I turned everything off and will wait until I get another achievement, then I will turn it back on again and see if it kicks back in.

Not yet. I will wait until I get another achievement before switching it back on.

 

This is now fixed and here is what I did:

• Turned OFF all notifications in Settings>Preferences
• Fully powered down the Xbox (Touch and hold the On/Off button)
• Turned on the Xbox and played a game until I got an achievement
• Fully powered down the Xbox (Touch and hold the On/Off button)
• Turned on the Xbox and turned ON all notifications in Settings>Preferences
• Fully powered down the Xbox (Touch and hold the On/Off button)
• Turned on the Xbox and played a game until I got an achievement - this time I got the notification back!
  

I don't know if all these steps are really required but I figured if I powered down the Xbox fully rather than to a standby state it may save and reload its settings more permanently. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.

 

I had this problem for the past week and I think finally found what was causing it, at least for me. If you have Windows 10 Preview on your Laptop/Computer and you have the accounts linked together, that could be causing an issue on that account.

I went through factory resets for my Xbox, I re-downloaded my profile several times, I made sure all the notifications were on, everything. I did everything I could to actually fix it, then remembered I was using Windows 10 and it could be buggy and it links
the accounts together with the Xbox App.

I ended up doing a factory reset for my Xbox One and my Laptop at the same time and after doing that, achievements were working fine for me. (I even re-installed Windows 10, no issues so far.) This may work for you, it just sucks that you have to go through
so much to get this one issue solved. This 100% worked for me though. Windows 10 is buggy at the moment and this is one bug that Xbox really needs to look into.

If you're not on Windows 10 also, then I'm not sure what else you could try if you've done everything like I have.
