Achievements - BROKEN!

I seem to be running into this problem a lot on the Xbox one. Achievements are not unlocking! They are either stuck as "Unlocking" but never actually unlock or add to my gamerscore. Or I will do what I need to for the achievement but it won't unlock. Latest
example of this, I completed level 9 of Lego Batman 3 and the achievement has not unlocked! I have tried completing the level over and over but no avail. Its not just one game, this is happening across multiple titles and its hit or miss when the issue wants
to occur.

This is not something that a particular game needs patching for because its happening across multiple titles on the xbox one. Scouring the forums sees lots of people with the same issues.

I have spoken with Xbox Support who said for me to clear the persistent cache which I did and recover my profile which I did but nothing has helped. Their only suggestion was write to the games developer themselves!! This is ludicrous because its clearly an
issue with the xbox platform due to the fact that multiple games with different developers all seem to have this issue lately.

Does anyone have any information on this or something that can be done to fix it? Makes me not want to play xbox games because like it or not, achievements are something i enjoy getting. Plus I don't want to be stuck with an un-earnable achievement due to glitchy
OS or server issues.

First wave Xbox One April updates

This update has broken a lot of stuff for me, love the features don't like all the glitches that came with it :S

Can attest to that at least for me. 14 hours ago unlocked a new hope in assassins creed black flag. After than did everything for about 4_5 achievements and maybe one for true achievements. So fat nothings unlocked

 

It's been happening for the last couple weeks and it's impacted every game I've played so I don't see that it's a developer issue either.

So far everything has unlocked within a couple hours to 48 hrs but I agree it's annoying.

 

The ones that say "Unlocking" sometimes unlock in 48 hours for me but most of the time they remain as "unlocking" indefinitely. Some don't even pop at all despite me completing them. For example, lego batman 3, completed level 9 which should get an achievement
but it didn't. This is an all too familiar thing on the Xbox One these days. Never had this problem on the 360.

 

yeah... this achievement thing is getting ridiculous.

 

The thing that annoys me more than the problem itself is Microsoft's total lack of acknowledgement. Sure they have a small paragraph on the Support page about achievements not unlocking immediately which they say is, and I quote "rarely" happening.

Firstly, its not a rare occurrence it affects thousands and maybe even millions of users every day. Secondly, achievements not unlocking, period, has never been acknowledged by them. If anyone from the company actually reads this post, how about admitting
there is a problem and offering some assurance that you have not forgotten about us now that you have our money and commitment as customers?

You're the second person I've seen that actually contacted support and was told to contact the developers which obviously isn't going to solve anything so not only are they not acknowledging it but they are kissing it off to the dev's.

 

I unlocked several achievements to day, and had to wait quite a while for even one to pop up. The others I assume will just be unlocked later on, without alerting me.

 

Achievements on Xbox One are the sole responsibility of Microsoft. On the 360 they were the developers responsibility but it changed on Xbox One with their online DRM scheme they tried to run. Twitter support has stopped responding to my tweets about it
and E said they will pop eventually. On the bright side I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.

 

Yeah I think Xbox is just having a lot of issues now. I got a NFS achievement to pop up during AW recently. Then I had an AW achievement not pop up for a while and a story related one didn't pop up which is weird. I replayed it and got it the second time.

@Akame: I didn't know that. That's pretty interesting about achievements and your car insurance. Did you go with Geico?

 

i am also having this problem, unlocked one level achievement fine last night then the nest 2 level didn't unlock at all. tried redoing the level and it still didn't unlock

 

This achievement stuff is getting annoying. I got about 5 HALO MCC achievement not poping up.

 

They still owe me 3 Halo achievements. But its whatever.
