Achievements app wont open - error code 0x87c40011

Hey, all! If you are able to access the Achievement App, please create a new thread detailing what you are running into and troubleshooting you've completed. Please remember that
it can take up to 48 hours before your achievements pop, so give it that time before you post up on the forums.

I do see that several of you have unlocked achievements yesterday here on xbox.com now, and I am able to access your profiles there. If you are still getting this error, please post up:

• Are you able to access your achievements on xbox.com or Smartglass?
• Is this only happening in a specific game; what game if it is?

Hey Xbox just letting you know i'm still having the problem here. With regards to your question my achievements show when in normal mode but not in snap mode, and while in snap many of them have there progress bars altered, some bars have gone down to zero
and all progress i've made since this issue hasn't been recorded on fullscreen or snap achievement screen, but has been recorded on the in game progress e.g it tells me ive completed the mission or objective in the in game stats. This is happening on Halo
TMCC. I believe you may have mentioned this is a previous post but may i ask again, when this is happening and achievement progress doesn't appear to be getting recorded for any reason, If i continue to play will those achievements pop in time or is there
any chance they may not be recorded? I think for many people a clear reassurance that the progress you make while this is happening IS being recorded and will be updated could ease a lot of anxiety, as opposed to not knowing whether you can actually play your
console today. I love the games but the achievements are a big part of the fun. Thank you for working hard on this Xbox

 

Everything is working fine for me now, I can access the app and achievements pop with no problem. If I start having issues again I'll post here and let you know. Thanks for working so hard on this Microsoft, I hope the issue is resolved for everyone else
soon.

 

I have a question related to this issue.

Yesterday my achievements since Tuesday popped but my game progress didn't. I'm playing Halo MCC and have the achievements for getting to level 6, but my progress and counts all show that I've only done two levels. I'm also not 100% sure that my kill counts
are updating properly. Will these update as well or will I have to go back and redo the levels?

This affects the achievement app and smartglass.

 

Everyone keep in mind that this week and last week, there have been outages

that will have an effect on any achievements showing up as its necessary to be connected to xbox live to get the achievement.

 

I am sick and tired of this crap. Achievements app is not loading for me, like usual, and none of my achievements are popping. As a gamerscore hunter, this is a slap in the face. Having owned this console since launch, I find it unacceptable that they
can't fix something so simple. I am so ready to sell this awful console and get a PS4. I have always hated Sony, but it couldn't possibly be as bad as the atrocity that is Xbox One.

Hi, i have made 3 achievemts during the last server outtake. 2 of them came after the server are back up within 48h. But my lastone of this three "Defender of Franciade" from Assassin`s Creed Unity Dead Kings DLC is still not unlocked. App and site are working
without problems for me.

I just wanted to post up that the issue resolved itself two days after my last post. I still have to sign in to the app every time after each shut off and I'm wondering if anyone else has that happening.

 

I do not play destiny yet I get this error. I played most of my games offline. The one time I go online just to sync my console to the online account and then poof can not play at all. not online or offline. then there is the purchase and content usage error
that is going on which is frustrating.

 

just tried to see achievements today from playing Halo MCC, and got the 0x87c40011 stiff arm.

 

This is a complete joke. I have had three different error messages with the last being 0x87dd001a and the only advice you get is to turn it off and on again. I have had more error messages and system crashes in a month for the xbox one than I did for an
entire year with my 360. Also I think it's a joke that the system was changed to not be online all the time but if you spend anytime with it offline then upon signing back it, just crawls and stutters and you spend a good hour waiting for it to do anything.
