achievements and notifications

Hi i have a small problem with achievements some times but not all the time i get no notification that i have unlocked one but when i look at my profile it says i have unlocked it?

for example i will be just playing through a game and i will unlock an achievement and will get a bloop bloop then the next time i unlock one no bloop bloop but will be unlocked if i manually look at my achievement list....i did do the reset thing and it
started working fine then after a couple of days its doing it again on multiple games

Any idea how to sort this problem out as its getting quite annoying now

The new achievement notifications are great.

 

Continued Notification Lag

When friends/peps send you messages on Xbox Live, Notifications aren't that laggy now.

But... the orange achievement notifications are quite laggy now compare those "achievement" notifications with how non-laggy the achievement notifications are on the Xbox 360, which pop up with practically no lag - smooth and fluid. That's how notifications
should work. This is probably a

"software" issue more than a "it's your internet".

 

You could try to completely power down your system by holding the front power button for at least 10 seconds, then unplug your system and leave it unplugged for 10 mins, then reconnect and see if that fixes the issue. You could also try a

factory reset, which isn't as bad as it sounds as there's now an option to factory reset the OS/settings but keep you games and apps installed so all you really have to do is log in again and the system.
