Achievements, and a Promise Once Made

So, Microsoft. I hate to mention this (as the articles and anything tied to them are basically buried. Tried searching for hours) but you made a promise. One that, to achievement hunters, was a HUGE deal. You said, specifically, that with the new online
system for achievements you would be able to fix broken ones (I'm still waiting on this as a first party title, Halo 5, has a broken achievement). But the most important part, as all broken ones get fixed 'eventually', is that you promised to keep on developers
that abused the system. Specifically those guys that put in impossibly grindy achievements in games that don't warrant them, or just don't have the player base to warrant them (and in this case, never has). And so I make my case against Battlefield: Hardline.
This game sold terribly, absolutely abysmal sales. Nothing about this game will ever change the fact that it sold poorly. Later DLC's absolutely divided the community, and later ended the DLC's as you 'had' to flock back to the base game. And as they lost
DLC support from lack of players, they lost players in general due to a lack of new content. This game has been baron since about a month after launch and thus we get to the problem. The first DLC added 4 achievements in particular that didn't sit well with
anyone I know. Even those I didn't know in forums. With an absolutely dead game, gaining 10,000 kills with a specific class (one you might not even be all that good with due to different weapons) is absolutely absurd. I'll be maxed rank long before I ever
get to this apocalyptically dumb forty thousand kills. Time to step in and tell this developer (Visceral, and on top of that EA) that enough is enough. Achievements as a whole have been getting abused as of late with grindy stuff all around as a way to artificially
lengthen games and I'm tired of it. Especially when you said you would fight against this this generation. It's even worse when we can get the developer to respond to the accusation with a fix coming in the "near future"....in June 2015. It's February 2016
as of tomorrow, and another DLC was just released! When is it enough? When does someone with some power step up for the little guy? When does the online achievement infrastructure become a way for Microsoft to get devs to make achievements reasonable after
online games die.

Love for a fix, or even a response. It's not unreasonable to want a fix for something I was promised from the start..

Well i made the mistake to help everyone, and fulfill all my promises. But still made it, so if you break all the promises and donate some of your own. You definitley have enough money to save albion

 

Is there anyway to delete a game from your achievements

Sorry, once you got an achievement it is not possible to delete a game.

This possibility is only there if you played a game but made no achievements

 

Devs can be quoted saying they'll "fix" achievements and they do nothing. Microsoft. Time to step in like you said you would if devs abused achievements. Go to visceral and make them change what they promised to change.
